L'association Droit et soin contre les violences milite pour que les droits humains deviennent des fondamentaux politiques. C'est dans cette perspective qu'elle prend position en faveur de la création d'une Communauté des démocraties. Pour servir ces objectifs, l'association publie une revue, "Le Quai d'en Face", et organise des colloques. Les analyses critiques portent sur les systèmes de domination et sur les mécanismes de destruction à l'oeuvre dans la sphère privée comme dans la sphère publique, à l'interne comme à l'international.
