Please help us protect our planet ...

Pipeline qui traverserait l'Amérique, "from Canada to the Gulf Coast". Source : Sierra Club

"The Keystone XL pipeline will carry up to 900,000 barrels per day of the world’s dirtiest oil from Canada to the Gulf Coast

On November 6th, thousands of us will encircle the White House to tell President Obama that he needs to reject this dirty oil pipeline proposal.

We know that many of you cannot be in DC with us but share our conviction to stop the Keystone XL pipeline.Donate today to help stop the Keystone XL pipeline and stop this threat!

The Keystone XL pipeline extends 1,700 miles across America posing a direct threat to our land, air, and water as well as the health and livelihoods of our communities. The pipeline crosses the Ogallala aquifer, which provides 30% of our agricultural water and drinking water to 2 million Americans. Our nation has experienced the real impacts of our addiction to fossil fuels with multiple oil spills still affecting communities and habitat today – any break in the pipeline could have devastating effects.

Support our efforts to stop the Keystone XL pipeline – make your donation today!

The extraction of tar sands oil will decimate large areas of forest and bird habitat that will be lost forever. An area the size of Florida will become a wasteland full of toxic lakes that are so large they can be seen from space.

Keystone XL would deepen our dependence on oil and further escalate climate change in North America. Please help us protect our planet from this destruction with an urgent donation today!"
